Bauer - De Wet Equipment (Pty) Ltd is a newly formed joint venture company between DWD Drilling Technologies (Pty) Ltd and Bauer Resources GmbH

The company's aim is to design, develop and manufacture specialised drilling rigs to serve the mining and energy industry globally.

New rig development:

Rhino 1800 - Multi purpose, track mounted blasthole drilling rig.

Buffallo 70 - Multi purpose mobile, high capacity rotary drilling rig. 70 ton pullback.

Design team:

The design team is a joint effort between the leading designers of DWD Drilling Technologies and the Bauer Group. This joint venture company was established due to the experience gained by De Wet Drilling over many years and will be beneficial to the Southern African drilling and mining industry in future.
